2026 Century Building Awards

May is National Preservation Month: "The Power of Place".

Please join us as we celebrate National Preservation Month with our annual Century Building Awards program. We will meet for potluck dinner at 6:00 pm--please bring a side dish, salad, or dessert to share; beverages are provided. Then at 7:00 pm, we will host a reception and presentation honoring this year's building owners.

Since our program's inception in 1988, we have recognized more than 460 buildings in Racine city and county that are at least 100 years old and have been well cared for and maintained by their owners. This year we will present Century Building Certificates to 12 owners of historic buildings in Racine County and briefly discuss the history of each. The buildings also will be featured in our Summer 2026 newsletter.
