More Racine history "Through the Eyes of Wilfred Glenn Marshall"
Would you like to take a stroll visually through a Racine of the past? We're bringing back our friend Jerry Karwowski to highlight more stories and photography about Racine from the early 1900s until Wilfred G. Marshall's death in 1977.
Jerry has embraced history since his youth. And he has been a wealth of reminiscences about our town since his twenties, when he began seriously accumulating memorabilia locally. Come enjoy an evening of conversation and photographs as he brings us closer to our roots and our history.
Jerry will also have his latest book, Through the Eyes of Wilfred Glenn Marshall, for sale. If you're interested in adding to or beginning a collection of the visual history of your city, this will be a chance to secure a beautiful book featuring stunning glass plate photographs taken by Marshall and curated by Jerry, who saved them for posterity. Not only has Jerry saved these glass plates, but he has also had many of them printed in book form to be treasured.
